Hello and welcome to the Parenting on the Ranch! First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Jessica Mohr. I am married to my husband Curtis and have three wonderful children (Raven 6 yo, Cassidy 5yo and Gage 3yo).
I have been raising children as long as I can remember! I started babysitting and keeping children at my house when I was 14 years old.
My husband and I got into foster care in August 2014 and had 25 kids come through our home within about three years, until we adopted our kiddos on July 31,2017. We decided it was best for me to fulfill my dream of being a stay at home mom when we started fostering. My husband is a 911 dispatcher going on 14 years and the last four years have been for Somervell County Sheriff’s Office.
However, one thing that I have ALWAYS wanted to do was to write something; A book, a blog, something. Throughout my reading about writing, one of the things that was said over and over again was to write about what you know. So, I asked myself what do I write about? Well, there is one thing that I have that would appeal the most to others, my journey and experiences of being a mother and wife.
